Marc VIEILLEFON

Orchestra, trio, quartet, show, current and folk music, I love everything for everyone and beyond. My priority ? Transmit the emotion of all music.

A traveling violinist, both geographically and artistically, Marc Vieillefon enjoys chosen or impromptu encounters.

After his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and years spent traveling the world with the Trio Pelleas, the Orchester de Paris and the Élysée and Debussy Quartets, and collaborating with artists like Richard Galliano, Yaëlle Naïm or Keren Ann, he decided to follow the coasts and borders in France by creating “Musirando”, a large cultural and humanitarian walking loop.

Marc has always had no boundaries, neither musical, nor fictional, and even less real! Share, transmit, receive, such is its motto.

His appointment as professor of chamber music at the Pierre Barbizet Conservatory in Marseille leads him towards a new adventure which will last as long as it takes, as long as he can play and walk or both at the same time!

He plays a violin by Italian luthier Gennaro Gagliano from 1750.
