Andrea Nannoni a étudié au Conservatoire "L.Cherubini" de Florence avec Pietro Grossi. Après l'obtention de son diplôme, il a participé à des cours de perfectionnement à l'Accademia Chigiana de Sienne et à ceux de la Hochschule fur Musik de Vienne, tous deux tenus par André Navarra, ainsi qu'à ceux de l'Accademia di Santa Cecilia avec Amedeo Baldovino, il est lauréat de nombreux concours. En 1980, il a reçu le prix national «David de Michel-Ange» pour des mérites particuliers acquis dans le domaine des concerts nationaux et internationaux. Il a été l'invité de certains des orchestres italiens les plus importants. Il a également joué dans des ensembles de chambre avec des artistes tels que Uto Ughi, Maria Tipo, Bruno Canino, Pier Narciso Masi, Giuseppe Garbarino, Franco Petracchi, Piero Farulli, Michele Campanella. Il a fait partie du Trio di Fiesole et du Nuovo Quartetto avec lesquels il a mené une intense activité de concert pour les grandes compagnies italiennes et européennes. Il a enregistré pour les maisons de disques Denon Nippon Columbia, Frequenz et Fonè. Il est titulaire d'une chaire de violoncelle au Conservatoire "L. Cherubini" de Florence. Il est également professeur dans les cours spéciaux et dans les cours de qualification professionnelle de l'école de musique de Fiesole, et de 1988 à 2004, il a été professeur assistant dans le cours de spécialisation de quatuor à cordes de l'Académie Chigiana de Sienne.

Andrea Nannoni studied at the "L.Cherubini" Conservatory in Florence with Pietro Grossi. After graduation he participated in advanced courses at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and those of the Hochschule fur Musik in Vienna, both held by André Navarra of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia with Amedeo Baldovino. He is the winner of numerous competitions. In 1980 he was awarded the national prize "Michelangelo's David" for particular merits acquired in the field of national and international concerts. He has been a guest of some of the most important Italian orchestras. He also played in chamber ensembles with artists such as Uto Ughi, Maria Tipo, Bruno Canino, Pier Narciso Masi, Giuseppe Garbarino, Franco Petracchi, Piero Farulli, Michele Campanella. He was part of the Trio di Fiesole and of the New Quartet with which he carried out an intense concert activity for the major Italian and European companies. He has recorded for Denon Nippon Columbia, Frequenz and Fonè record companies. He holds a chair in cello at the "L. Cherubini" Conservatory in Florence. He is also a teacher in the Special Courses and in the Professional Qualification Courses of the Music School of Fiesole, and from 1988 to 2004 he was assistant teacher in the Specialization course of String Quartet of the Chigiana Academy of Siena.
